Сценарій позакласного заходу     
Christmas Party

Compere 1: Dear pupils, teachers and parents! On the 25-th of December English people celebrate Christmas.
Compere 2: It’s a happy holiday for many people in different countries. On this day they wish  each other to be happy, healthy and wealthy.
Compere 1: Some weeks before Christmas English people are busy. They  send greeting  cards to all their relatives and friends. You can buy Christmas cards or you can make them. Many children make their cards at school.
Compere 2: People buy a Christmas tree and decorate it with toys, coloured balls and little coloured lights. We also have a beautiful Christmas tree in our hall.
Compere 1: On Christmas Eve people put their presents under the tree. When children go to bed, they put their stockings near their beds.
Compere 2: At night Father Christmas comes. He has got a big bag of presents for children. He puts the presents in the children’s stockings. As we celebrate Christmas in winter let’s call winter months.
Children: December, January, February.
December:
This is the season
When children ski,
And Grandfather Frost
Brings the New Year Tree.
January:
How quietly the snow
Is falling on the ground.
It’s falling on the country-side
And softly on the town.
February:
And children’s eyes are bright
With wonder and delight,
For tiny stars of snow are falling
From the sky tonight.
Pupil 1: Snow, snow, all around,
On the trees and on the ground.
Pupil 2: The snow is falling,
The wind is blowing.
The ground is white.
All day and night.
Wind: Little snowflakes, come and play,
I’ve nothing to do today.
Snowflakes: Yes, we’ll come and oh, what fun,
We’ll twirl, and dance, and skip, and run.
Wind: Come on, snowflakes, come with me.
There are many things to see.
Snowflakes: Come on, sister, back we go
To where the earth is white with snow.
(They go round the Wind and sing a song)
Snowflakes fall on trees and walk,
Snowflakes fall as white as chalk,
Snowflakes fall into my hand,
Snowflakes brighten up our land.
Pupil 3: The snow is thick,
The snow is white,
It must have fallen
In the night.
Pupil 4: I’m running on my skis,
White and silver stand the trees.
I’m as warm as warm can be.
Try to catch me. One. Two. Three.
Pupil 5: I’m running on my skates.
White and silver are the lakes.
I’m as quick as quick can be.
Try to catch me. One Two. Three.
Pupil 6: Little children, make a ring,
Make a ring, make a ring.
Pupil 7: We shall dance and we shall sing,
We shall dance and we shall sing.
(Children sing a song «If you are happy».)

Compere 1: Characters from the tale Cinderella have come to us.
Compere 2: This is the story of Cinderella. She is beautiful girl. She hasn’t got a mother. Her father has got a second wife now and she is Cinderella’s stepmother. She is a horrible woman. She has got two daughters: Pat and Liz. They are Cinderella’s stepsisters.
Cinderella
Part I
Cinderella: Good morning, dear Daddy!
Father: Good morning, my child. How are you today?
Cinderella: Fine, Daddy. And you?
Father: Oh, I’m O.k. but, my child…
Cinderella: Yes, Daddy?
(Enters lady Sybil).
Stepmother: Cinderella, what you doing? You’re not working.
Father: But…
Stepmother: Work, girl, work. Make the breakfast. I’m hungry. I want my toast, jam, cheese, and a cup of tea.
Cinderella: Yes, stepmother.
Stepmother: And you Basil, what are you doing? Helping girl?
Father: Oh, no …
Stepmother: My daughters are coming down and they want their breakfast too.
(Enters Pat).
Cinderella: Good morning, sister.
Stepmother: Ah, good morning my child.
Pat: Morning.
Stepmother: And how are you today?
Pat: Terrible.
Stepmother: Oh, dear.
(Enters Liz)
Cinderella: Good morning, sister.
Stepmother: Ah, good morning, dear Liz.
Liz: Good morning, dear Mummy.
Stepmother: How are you today?
Liz: Terrible, terrible.
Stepmother: Oh, dear, you too?
Liz: Oh, my head, … my teeth…
Pat: Cinderella, where is my breakfast? I’m  hungry  and thirsty. I want two eggs, pudding, cookies, two cups of tea today – milk, sugar, and six pieces of toast –
Liz: I want a cup of coffee … Oh, my head…
Pat: – With cheese –
Liz: Coffee. Black. No sugar. I want my breakfast now, Cinderella, Oh, my teeth …
Pat: And an apple.
Cinderella: Yes, sister. Yes, sister.

Part II
Stepmother: We’ll go to the ball today. What shall we wear, I wonder? We haven’t got new clothes. And I want some new clothes for the ball. I want a party dress.
Pat: And me, too. I want a beautiful white evening dress. And I want a blue hat ant white shoes.
Liz: And me, too. I want a beautiful blue evening dress, blue shoes and a white hat.
Cinderella: And me, too. I can’t wear these old clothes. I want some new clothes.
Stepmother:
Pat: YOU?…
Liz:
Cinderella: Yes, me.
Stepmother: You can’t go to the ball.
Pat: No, you can’t go to the ball.
Liz: No, you can’t go to the ball.
Postman: Oh yes, she can. Look here. Invitation  says: «To Lord Basil and Lady Sybil and their three daughters». So she can go to the ball.
Stepmother: Oh, no she can’t.
Postman: Oh, yes, she can.
Pat and Liz: Oh, no she can’t.
Stepmother: Oh, yes, she can.
Pat and Liz: What?
Stepmother: Yes, she can go to the ball. Of course she can.  Thank you, postman. You have a very busy day today.  Goodbye, postman. Cinderella, you can go to the ball. But first  there’s some work  for you to do. Make beds, go to the shop any buy food and drink, make tea, wash my clothes…
Liz: Wash my clothes.
Pat: And my clothes.
Liz: Wash my dress.
Pat: And my dress.
Liz: My stockings.
Pat: My socks.
Stepmother: And only then you can make your dress for the ball. And then you can go to the ball.
Cinderella: Oh, no. I can’t do all that today. How can I go to   the ball now?
Part III
Cinderella: What can I do now? I haven’t got new clothes. I can’t go to the ball now. It’s nine o’clock. The ball is starting. Who can help me?
Fairy: I can help you, Cinderella.
Cinderella: But who are you?
Fairy: I’m your FAIRY GODMOTHER, Cinderella. I can do things for you. Now tell me, what’s your problem?
Cinderella: Oh, Fairy Godmother. I can’t go to the ball. And I want to go.
Fairy: And where are your sisters? At the ball? M- m- m- m-. Well, let me see. Aha. That’s a good idea. Cinderella, give me a box, that shoe-box over there.
Cinderella: Here you are.
Fairy: Now you stand there, near the box. One,  two, three. Look, Cinderella, here is your carriage. One horse and one driver. Now you can go to the ball.
Cinderella: Oh. But  my clothes. I can’t wear these at the ball.
Fairy: M- m- m, no, you can’t. Close your eyes. Cinderella. One, two, three. Now open your eyes.
Cinderella: (looks at her new clothes) : But these clothes are beautiful.
Fairy: And so you are, Cinderella. Now you can go to the ball and  have a good time.
Cinderella: Oh, thank you, Fairy Godmother.
Fairy: But, Cinderella, there’s just one thing.
Cinderella: Yes?
Fairy: You can have these things only until 12 o’clock. Come home before that time. Do you understand?
Cinderella: Oh, yes, yes. Thank you, thank you. Thank you very much, Fairy Godmother.
Fairy: Bye, Cinderella. Have a good time. And remember – you must be back home before 12 o’clock.

Compere 1: A Holiday is hardly possible without  FATHER CHRISTMAS.
Compere 2: You know, Father Christmas comes at night and brings presents… But listen. Somebody is knocking at the door.
( Father CHRISTMAS AND THE SNOW-MAIDEN come in).
FATHER CHRISTMAS: We wish you a Merry Christmas.
SNOW-MAIDEN:            Presents we bring for each and all:
Big children, little ones, short and tall.
Each one from us a treasure may win,
So open your doors and let us in.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: Some shall have silver and some shall have gold,
Some shall have new clothes and some shall have old,
Some shall have brass and some shall have tin,
Some shall have water  and some shall …
SNOW-MAIDEN: Some shall have water  and some shall, have milk,
Some shall have satin  and some shall have silk.
But each of you a present may win.
So open your door  and let us in.
CHILDREN: COME IN, COME IN.
FATHER CHRISTMAS: We’ll give you presents, all of you.
(FATHER CHRISTMAS AND THE SNOW-MAIDEN GIVE PRESENTS TO THE PUPILS, TEACHERS AND GUESTS.)
FATHER CHRISTMAS:
A Merry Christmas for me,

That’s what I wish – I do.
(CHILDREN SING A SONG )
